Diwali 2013
How to make this Diwali memorable with your own unique design of rangoli?
Plan a design- A clear idea about what one wants to portray through his piece of work is most important. Plan your design- make it on a piece of paper first if you want. Use old greeting cards, calendars, Google search for ideas or your put own imagination into work.
Sketch it on floor- Make a clear sketch of your design on the floor. Use a pencil or chalk for this, it easily erases without marks in case you plan corrections.
Fill in the colors- Now this is the most creative part of all. Fill in your best colors- bright and lively in tune with the occasion. You can use chalk powder, flowers or even water colors.
Decorate with flowers and lamps- Once the rangoli is prepared, spread around flower petals and light up lamps to decorate. You can also choose to use colorful bright glitter powders in selective areas to decorate.
